Attachment, a human experience, can lead to suffering if not released. In Buddhism, attachment, called upādāna, leads to suffering and hinders spiritual growth.
Category: Spirituality
Spirituality as a concept, encompasses many perspectives involving the transcendent. It is the developing of sensed connection to something bigger than ourselves, and it typically involves a search for meaning in life. As such, it is a universal human experience—something that touches us all. People may describe a spiritual experience as sacred or transcendent or simply a deep sense of aliveness and interconnectedness
What do you see??
The mirror reflects the individual's internal landscape and can catalyze liberation from limiting perceptions. Understanding and accepting the true self is crucial for growth and balance.
Know yourself, in spite of ‘friends’ . . . .
The Human Experience is rife with learning opportunities. These opportunities are sometimes painful lessons that are bestowed by those who are closest to us. We learn that closeness is not commensurate with camaraderie.
Crystals and Stones
The prevailing sentiment among(st) the average Christian is that gemstones are worthless pieces of stone. My supposition is that there is nothing in the KJV bible that is just a filler. Everything has an energy with which it is associated.
A U M (OM): Nothingness. Spaciousness. Endless Light.
The overall result of chanting the A-U-M mantra is to pierce through the perceptions of separation.
A U M (OM): M
The A-U-M Chant, comprising the sounds A, U, and M, represents the beginning, middle, and end of a cycle, with M symbolizing the deep sleep state and the convergence of self and not self into mutual negation. The M sound gradually leads into silence, allowing for complete release into a void while maintaining awareness. This chant is self-sustaining and indicative of profound stillness. The M represents destruction and dissolution through Shiva and Parvati, who create, sustain, and dissolve the universe in eternal harmony.
A U M (OM): U
The A-U-M (OM) chant encompasses and empowers the psycho-mental make-up of the individual. The 'U' is the state of active unconscious functioning. It is associated with the 'non-self' perception of reality.
A U M (OM)
The AUM (OM) chant is more than a mystical concept; it is part of everyday consciousness. Dividing reality into arbitrary aspects of three facilitates dealing with everyday mundane life, but AUM (OM) coalesces these aspects into a synchronous energetic locus point, aiding in manifesting potential. By vocalizing AUM (OM) with intention, one can feel its powerful reverberation and use it to calm mental chatter, develop conscious awareness, and harmonize reality's divisions.
Fist-Bumping . . . . O. K.!!!!!
Fist bumping evidences humans as being trapped into mundane reality. Fist bumping also establishes the social nature of the human collective. The tenuous nature of existing in the mundane can be eased through social gestures. The majority of people could not explain the why or wherefore of (their) engaging in normalized social actions. I am not adverse to touching but I do feel that a visual acknowledging, in many cases, is more than sufficient .
