Let’s Move

 

All of exercise is movement at the core. To live is to move. Movement is key to all processes in life. Nothing in the world stands still, waters, forests, weather patterns, ecosystems. Even the mountains are being built up and disintegrating – a constant and consistent cycle. The body is comprised of and exists due to . . . cycles. Breathing, muscular contraction, cellular creation and destruction, eating / drinking and passing waste material are just some of the cycles that exist within the body. These and other cycles in the body are facilitated through movement. Without movement, stagnation occurs. Imagine a pool of stagnant waters . . . . that is your body without movement . . . . .

Get out there and move.

Backbends facilitate deeper breathing by opening up the chest and shoulder areas.
