Injury Can Stall Your Workouts

It seems that lately a push is being promoted for individuals to get more exercise. This is fine, but what about those individuals who may be dealing with injuries of various types? This can indeed hamper one’s workouts.

Our bodies are so intelligent. They can tell us what we need and when we need it. We need to become aware of what our bodies are communicating to us.

Injury, if we incur it, is a chance to learn about ourselves. This is may be a scary lesson. As we learn about ourselves insights are revealed that we may be uncomfortable with. 

Injuries can be a result of overuse.  However, they can also be a result of not knowing our limitations.  When we tune in to what our bodies are communicating to us, we can avoid injury in most cases.  If we do incur an injury, we can assist with the healing process by intelligently listening to what our bodies are telling us.
