Can you walk A(l)l(one)??

One must be adequately equipped when journeying solo into the wilderness. Likewise, a solitary spiritual practice requires that one have access to modalities which are supportive of being on that path. Knowledge of Self gained by the individual facilitates a deeper understanding of the practice. Organizations can provide an environment through which the individual’s practice is buoyed up. Yet, organizational involvement can also impose upon the seeker the necessity of navigating the different energies inherent therein. The personal journey is a giving of reverence to the divine spark that resides within (each of us), a deepening realization of oneness with Source. By defining one’s own spiritual journey, the individual is free to flourish without dogmatic constraint.

Be still and know that I am GOD . . . .
The act of meditating is the process of realizing that mental activity clouds out oneness with SOURCE. Mental activity is brought to a state of minimal flux . . . . . like a turbulent pond that settles so that the pebbles on the bottom and the moon above can be clearly discerned.

The solitary practice is one path through which one can access higher spiritual insights, deeper inner truths. One must be comfortable with themselves as they independently seek inner confirmation. As congregations provide support for the typical ‘church-goer, the solitary seeker must find solace in Self. There are meditations and other sundry technologies that can bolster the journey of those seekers who travel alone. Although, this path, for some, is not adequate as a venue for spiritual edification. However, for those who so chose, it feels complete and is thus, a congregation unto itself. The walk of the sojourner, for them, is beneficially gratifying and absolves one of feeling fettered in a group setting.

The capacity to see within is a hallmark of the spiritual walk. Especially, the solitary path can expedite the process of inner revelation. To see inside is to expand oneself into discovering their proclivities. Every has triggers that effect and impact how one navigates through the world. The solitary path facilitates the mining of the subconscious. Unearthing these triggers is how one familiarizes themselves with their own mental nooks and crannies. Not, so much, in an effort to annihilate them. Walking to solitary path is to comfortably navigate those proclivities in the achieving of mental clarity, external focus and internal expansion.

The majority of people would not feel complete without being in a type of congregation. These types thrive in a religious setting. The camaraderie provided within such a setting provides, for them, a supportive environment. There is no need to plot and maintain their (own) spiritual course. The path is lain out but the specifics of the particular religious text(s) to which one adheres. This is all the more comforting as the spiritual leader is elucidating the specifics of (the text) those texts to the group. Many in the group do reach a spiritual oneness due to focusing on input coming from the external environment. To be in a congregation is solid ground for attaining spiritual edification.

Organizational groupings bring various disparate energies into the social framework. It is up to the individual to navigate through these differences in mindset. (Spiritual) Organizations present the (pre)determined and described path as the way in which one should proceed. Yet, there will be those individuals within that same organization who will question how one approaches various activities in the group. This should in no way dissuade the seeker from their path. It is the opportunity to learn, adapt and proceed

Embarking upon the solitary spiritual path is to be certain in that choice. One must be comfortable in their own body and mind. Steeling the body and opening the mind allows for expanding the awareness. There are those who experience a sense of dis-connection when embarking upon this journey. Some recoil from that state to re-emmerse themselves into the security of congregation. It is the true seeker who is emboldened by this feeling. It is they who come to terms with the journey as such. they study. They contemplate. They incorporate . . . ad infinitum. The solace for these types is the journey, the quest to expand the drop of their being into the vastness of spiritual oneness.

To all living things, water is of major importance.
At first confusion arises in uniting into the vast oneness. As body and mind expand, confusion and strife are resolved. Calmness is accessed and the ripples of confusion become virtually indistinguishable from the oneness.

Experiencing the Self as one Non-Attached bestows a lightness to the journey. One whose direction arises from their own non-effortless effort proceeds along the path. One who does not light their candle from the accepted dogma and established tradition develops clarity of insight. This is a path for the seeker to discover themselves. The seeker plombs the depths of their personal trails and tribulations so to better acknowledge them and to put them into a proper perspective. That perspective being one recognizing that those are aspects of the self that is the evolving into Whole Self that is consistently becoming SELF.
