Inner discord is resolved more fully for the individual as they consistently expend effort toward attaining personal insight. It is a journey of self examination as various internal challenges are brought to the surface. The journey progresses along a path that consists of three phases: Intent, Essence, and Synthesis. Intent is the blossoming of the desire to reach for a knowing of divine union. Essence is coming to understand that the individual can attune themselves to the divine union state. Synthesis is the actualization and sustaining of clarity after having pierced the veiled illusion of separation. The individual becomes a totality that experiences unification through continual spiritual expansion.
Inner Discord is the dynamic that is found within the human populous. By functioning with an unsettled mind many labour to bring order to difficult to resolve, strident mental fluctuations. The mind, unchecked. is a constant revolution of mish-mashed thoughts that play over and over. This is accepted as normal by many individuals. A person may, from time to time, become aware of the insanity of this mental ping-pong that serves only to keep them entangled in the web of mundane normality. From this awareness the choice is whether to continue as usual or to embark upon acquiring Self-Knowledge and finding the essence what makes existence worthwhile. The veil of revolving materiality begins to lose the inherent opaqueness as individual insight increases.
Self examination comes with rewards and pitfalls. As a person delves into that of which they are comprised, the veneer of things as them being O. K. must be cast aside. The person sees within themselves the qualities of good and not so good. Revisiting the joyous moments can elicit feelings of nostalgia. This may become a regular indulgence if left unchecked. There are those things that lie within the psyche that bring up feelings of dread, guilt, anger, regret or the like. One often wants to push any of these back without further examination into the emotions which they facilitate. These are mental landmines and oasis’ that the individual must venture through along the course to Self Examination.
“Intent essence synthesis” refers to the process of identifying the core purpose or meaning (essence) behind an intention, and then combining this understanding with other related information to create a more comprehensive understanding or a new synthesis. It involves distilling the essential meaning from an intention and integrating it with other elements to create something new or to better understand the original intention1. The Synthesis, on a spiritual level, is the expanding into continual new levels being, research, and expansiveness. Coming to see that the totality is all pervasive.
Intent can be synonymized as aim, purpose or volition, all of which serve as ground for the initiation of liberating the self from the trappings of the mundane. Life is a comfortable ride for those individuals who accept it as is. Keeping fluctuations to a minimum is the key to being perceived and accepted as a regular person, one who ‘fits into the mold’. The comfort can become numbing for those who dare to think. They see their surroundings as an eight-cornered, confined space, no egress, no access. This individual wants to find that which expands them beyond those confines. The seeking begins, perhaps tentatively, perhaps in earnest. Yet, begin it must because the individual intuitively perceives that horizons unlimited are not distant realms. They lie within the expanses of the mind.
Essence, as the underlying, compositional consistency of all things, is the supportive fabric that comprises, but is not limited to, ‘corporal reality’ as such. Each of us, as human entities, exists as autonomous, self contained beings. This quality can be and is indulged by each human. We are socialized from birth to project outward while imposing our perceptions of separation from everything onto everything. Nothing that one encounters outside of themselves is pertinent unless it can be utilized; i. e. exploited. There is, however, a quantum fabric of permanence that is woven throughout reality. It is a unifying filament that has been and is extant throughout all things. The nature of this subtle quality is the essence that cannot be quantified. It is everywhere, at once, always.
Synthesis is the coalescing of the intention and essence. The intention is to reach beyond the prescribed mundane, social normality and facilitate melding it into the essence of the underlying substantiality that sustains all realities. Modern Humans are ushered into an existence of repetitiously conducting themselves to maintain the appearance of well-being. This channeling starts from birth, is maintained through various levels of conditioning, is validated by the compliance of associates, and is recycled into subsequent generations. To break this mold one needs seek the path of Self-Knowledge and expand that attained awareness into and beyond their surroundings. ‘Beyond’ is not an imaginary concept That humans detect only 0.0004% of the “air-based sonic spectrum” and about 0.0035% of the entire electromagnetic spectrum , implies that there is much more to be developed regarding human sense limitation. Realizing the limits of base perception facilitates a deep, holistic approach to understanding the mysteries of human existence. This is the basis of and the starting point for real synthesis.
The journey is not a destination. One does not ‘get to there from here. Synthesis is not an ending but a beginning.. An expansive vista is revealed when intent and essence become a synthesis. To have a synthesis is to be the realized, holistic self as the seeker. The person who sees that the path of synthesis is the path of discovery, of continual discovery. One must never stop leaning about the conscious nature of expanded awareness. Of what is one aware?? How they are timeless . . . of how they are limitless . . . of how they are connected . . . to . . . everything. The individual having emerged through synthesis experiences a altered, consciously receptive nature . . . . no veils of separation, no discontinuity, all is essentially one, . . .the individual is embracing and exploring the ocean.
The spiritual quest brings the person to a higher self-knowledge level that buoys the expansion of their conscious awareness. There is no separation with respect to having brought oneself to the launch pad that is synthesis. Exploring the essence of existence is a quest that never ends as the individual achieves different degrees of understanding. Intention is the point from which the desire to search out and unifying the elements of which one is comprised. Intent, Essence, and Synthesis are the progressive stages that illumine the path of the seeker. Emotional challenges arise during the course of the journey but resolving them through observation and acknowledgement can make them less daunting. Achieving personal insight through study, meditation, contemplation and various movement modalities will assist in the quelling of mental perturbations.
