The Spiritual Journey is a personal endeavor that can, with work, study and application elucidate, and elevate one beyond, the mundane existence.. The Spiritual Journey can only be liberational when the lone individual travels that revelatory path. The spiritual journey is not geared toward right and wrong, as one must find their own truth. Philosophically, truth is a concept that explores the nature of what is true and what is false, often debated in various logical systems and truth-value theories. One must then, in accordance with the methodologies and teachings studied, bring them into coalescence as an expression of Self. Discovering Self, Accepting Self, Loving Self, Expressing Self . . . the unfolding of the Spiritual Journey.

To be a spiritual wayfarer is to venture into discovering the confluence of illusory, 3D reality dogma and the unfiltered actuality of thusness – Tathata. This journey is personal for some, while others accidentally stumble onto the path. Things are brought to light that, having been integral to the life outlook of an individual, come to be viewed and understood as illusions of reality. The socialized constructs are but built up presentations, facades so to speak. They serve as invisible restraints that are accepted as normal by many people. Those who chose not to function within the illusory constructs would are capable of clearly and solitarily seeing the unveiled nakedness of ‘the man’ behind the curtain. (elusiveness of reality)
The journey requires that one be resolute in enduring the solitude that occurs due to discoveries that unfold along the way. This endeavor is one that is best undertaken alone. To be tasked with bringing someone else to a higher level of acuity can be a distraction and a hindrance. This is not to say that others should not receive assistance in this regard. One must establish their own stolid trajectory in pursuance of the knowledge that allows a peeling back of the layers that shroud the actuality behind the illusion. Developing a foundation of walking the path of knowledge acquisition requires focus, reflection, introspection. As these qualities flourish, one can more easily extend themselves to help others develop their own insights.

The truth is something that each traveler must arrive at for themselves, in lieu of finding others who have also found their own soul liberating truths. The journey will illuminate the consistencies and the inconsistencies that pervade the societal construct. What is constant? That everything is a vibratory manifestation of the universal energy. What is inconsistent? That mankind is the penultimate, above all creatures, above all creation., apart from nature. This dichotomy can be resolved, within each individual. An honest, validating realization can be achieved through searching, inner reflection and belief in the understanding that results. One will draw to themselves others who are travelling their own path of discovery.
Truth cannot be cordoned off based on criteria that confirms to dogmatic edict. Truth is to be found in spaces of pluralism. Truth, philosophically, is found in different domains of discourse, like mathematics, ethics, or science, that have their own unique criteria for what constitutes those truths. So to, the specifics of the spiritual journey can, and often do, vary greatly amongst individuals, although the end goal of the journey is the same. That end goal is realization of how significantly insignificant is the human dynamic in relation to the macrocosmic and subatomic breadths of existence. Most concepts of truth, presented as an either / or construct, impose a limit on what can constitute truth as an actuality. As has been shown, over time, what is called truth one day can be overridden. The breadth of existence cannot be overridden or dogmatized.

The individual can formulate their own concepts of truth as research and study bring clarity to the diverse ways of comprehending reality. People are socialized into and exist within a provided narrative of what comprises ‘real’. As this is normal for the majority, it is challenging to see beyond the limitations of the prescribed narrative. Yet, doing so allows one to embrace a freedom that is unrestricted. It is like one who dissolves a veil and walks through to find the truth that can only be found in themselves. This truth comes as a consequence of deep searching. It, this truth, can result in a distancing from friends, family members, social groups. it can be a lonely road. However, true realization is a reward in and of itself. To hold onto it is to ‘Harness the Dragon’.
The spiritual journey is one of discovery and self integration, ultimately. So many people are caught up in a web that they did not necessarily construct. Parents, friends, socialization, groups, trends . . . . . all of these play a part in providing bits of color to the canvas of the individual. It is the individual who must decide to determine their own narrative, rewrite the script, and begin with a ‘clean slate’ (as it were). As the parts of the self are gathered together, the individual can re-assemble them. They can be made into a presentation of the individual as the shipmaster. The one who sails the seas, using the stars as guides to distant lands, to undiscovered treasures.
